PUBLIC NOTICE OF AN INTEREST IN THE PROVISION OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE DEFINITION OF PROJECTS FOR THE ENERGY UPGRADING OF PUBLIC BUILDINGS WITHIN THE SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE EUROPEAN GASLESS PROJECT

An open procedure has been published for the award of a mixed concession for energy performance services (Energy Performance Contract – EPC), aimed at the refurbishment and energy management of 21 public buildings belonging to the municipalities of Alpignano, Lanzo Torinese, and Rivalta di Torino, as well as to the National Research Council (CNR) and the National Institute of Metrological Research (INRiM).

The third call for expressions of interest was launched in November 2025 with the aim of selecting buildings that can be supported in improving the energy efficiency of the building–plant system. The call is addressed to public authorities across the territory of the Piedmont Region.

Opening Dates: November 6, 2025 – December 15, 2025

Received Applications: 46 for 144 buildings

Summary of Applications: The highest number of applications came from the Metropolitan City of Turin, which accounted for half of all requests; the second most represented province was Cuneo (20%), followed by the province of Vercelli (13%). The region was almost entirely covered by requests for technical assistance, with the exception of the province of VCO (on which the second call for applications had focused).

Third expression of interest | CLOSED

The second call for expressions of interest was launched in December 2024 with the aim of selecting buildings that can be supported in improving the energy efficiency of the building–plant system. The call is addressed to public authorities in the provinces of Novara, Vercelli, Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, and Biella.

Opening Dates: December 5, 2024 – February 14, 2025

Received Applications: 15 for 37 buildings

Summary of Applications: The call was open only to the provinces of Novara, Biella, Vercelli, and Verbano-Cusio-Ossola. 8 proposed buildings are located in the province of Biella, 17 in the province of Novara, 3 in Vercelli, and 9 in Verbano-Cusio-Ossola.

Second expression of interest | CLOSED

THE FIRST NOTICE OF INTEREST WAS LAUNCHED IN DECEMBER 2023 IN ORDER TO SELECT BUILDINGS THAT CAN BE SUPPORTED TO MAKE THE BUILDING-PLANT SYSTEM ENERGY EFFICIENT.

Received Applications: 66

Summary of Applications: The highest number of applications came from the Metropolitan City of Turin, accounting for approximately half of all requests. The second most represented territory is the province of Novara (15%), followed by the province of Cuneo. However, technical assistance requests were received from across the entire regional territory.
