As part of the Interreg ALCOTRA RECROSSES project, from September 20th to 24th, 2025, the partners organized the first Tour dedicated to meet and share experiences between the Italian and French Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) involved in the project. The goal was to strengthen the project’s cross-border value.

The event was held under the patronage of RENAEL and was fully aligned with the 2025 European Mobility Week. In order to reduce CO₂ emissions and minimize the carbon footprint—fully in line with RECROSSES project objectives—the journey was completed in several stages by bicycle. The route passed through the ALCOTRA territories of the Aosta Valley, the provinces of Turin and Cuneo in Piedmont, and concluded in Nice, in the Alpes-Maritimes.

At each stop, through site visits and dedicated events, the RECs had the opportunity to meet, share their experiences, and sign an agreement to exchange best practices.
